Amylose Accumulation Under Water Deficit in Glutinous Rice (Oryza sativa L. Var. glutinosa)

The research aims to obtain a genotype of local glutinous rice tolerant drought stress by investigating yield and physiological responses. experiment is conducted in May-September 2020 West Lombok, Nusa Tenggara. factorial uses Randomized Block Design, including the first factor: varieties, namely Me'e, Kala, Samada, Paketih. second factor water supply, consisting 2,250 ml, 3,375 4,500 5,625 ml. variables are observed stomata density, content proline chlorophyll, panicle length, number weight grains, starch, amylose content. result shows that density has about 39 54.74 mm2 caused application on all strains. chlorophyll decreases 50% following declining amount application, while varieties reaches 40% supply at In addition, with ml varieties. By contrast, increasing affect several observed, an increase length around 10% grains 20% 40%, respectively.
